To make your hire or storage booking as seamless as possible, here’s a simple checklist of what to bring with you. A few quick documents, and you’ll be on your way with no delays or stress.
For van hire
Whether you’re hiring for a day or a few weeks, you’ll need:
A valid UK driving licence
This must be a full licence held for at least 12 months. Bring both the photocard and your check code if required.
Proof of address (dated within the last 3 months)
A recent utility bill, bank statement, or official letter that matches the address on your licence.
A debit or credit card
For payment and, where applicable, any pre-authorisation or security hold.
Your booking confirmation
Whether printed or on your phone, showing your name, booking time, and reference number.
Any extra drivers’ documents
If you’ve added another driver, they’ll need to bring their driving licence and proof of address too.
